I am amazed at what young minds can create. VisTech Technology Camp has been conducting a Video Game Creation class with 8-16 years olds. They have learned the basic “if -then” statements and taken off from there. Teach someone something and challenge them to see what they can create… it is amazing what can happen!

The young minds are creating multi-level games with sounds and animation. They are programming in scores and lives. The challenge at the end of the course is to have the participants play each others’ games and see who can hold the most “High Scores”.

The motivation and energy in the class i inspiring. If you are feeling like you are in a rut and bored… hang out with young minds at work. Who knows… it may inspire you to learn new technology as well.
